RIFT Warshaper Macro

The Warshaper is a unique soul in that it brings excellent damage and the advantage of cleansing and battle res to the table.

from: http://forums.riftgame.com/game-discussions/rift-guides-strategies/class-guides/cleric-guides/481200-warshaper.html

Advantages:

ST cleanse
AoE cleanse
Battle ress
Decent ST damage
Great burst!
No mana issues, ever!
"some" healing if needed.

Disadvantages:

Lower DPS then pure dps specs
No cleave
Slightly harder to play then Runeshaper.

The spec:

42RS/32Warden/2Inq

Level 65 Macros:

Primary DPS macro:

#show inscribe fate
suppressmacrofailures
cast inscribe fate
cast runestrike
cast Call of the Depths
cast Punishing Strike
cast Rune of Travail
cast Waterjet
cast Vex

Secondary DPS macro (use this if you get 3 stacks of Smiting Force):
#show runestrike
suppressmacrofailures
cast runestrike
cast Call of the Depths
cast Punishing Strike
cast Rune of Travail
cast Waterjet
cast Vex

Rune of Soul Binding macro (press twice):
#show Rune of Soul Binding
suppressmacrofailures
cast Tidal Surge
cast Rune of Soul Binding

Separate abilities to have on your bar:
Rune of Castigation
Rune of Smiting
Rune of Travail
Runelord's Inscription
Rune of Power
Seal of Pain
Seal of Vulnerability
Vex (use once when you have to move)
Dehydrate (use once when you have to move)
Soulstream (if you use it)
Curative Waters
Cleansing Waters
Open Water (can be put in macro's but might cause ability lag)
Tidal Surge
River of life

Abilities you can have on your bar if you plan on doing any healing:
Healing Spray
Overflowing Renewal
Healing Flood
Healing Cataract
Soothing Stream
Geyser (if you spec into it)
Crushing Waves

There are 5 important mechanics for this spec.

  • Rapid Judgement: Whenever you cast Runestrike, grants a 6/12/18/24/30% chance to make your next Rune of Castigation instant cast. This proc has a 4 second icd (Internal CoolDown).
  • Smiting Force: Increases the damage of your next Rune of Smiting by 100% max 3 stacks. Gained by Rune of Castigation, Inscribe Faith and Rune of Soul Binding.
  • Hasty Inscription: When you cast Runestrike, reduce the cast time of your next Rune of Smiting by 0.25/0.5 seconds. Can stack up to 4 times. At 4 stacks, your next rune of Smiting becomes instant.
  • Runelord: With each cast of Runestrike, there is a 3/6/9/12/15% chance to gain the Runelord buff. Runelords reduces the Cleric's Global Cooldown by 0.5 second and reduces the cast time of Runestrike to 0s.
  • Rising Tides: Your damaging spells reduce the current cooldown of Tidal Surge by 3 s.
Opener:

Precast Seal of Vulnerability
Cast Seal of Pain+Rune of Power+Runelord's Inscription
Inscribe Faith+Tidal Surge
Rune of Castigation

Then spam your macro's with this priority system:

1.Rune of Castigation (with Rapid Judgement proc and <3 stacks of Smiting Force)
2.Inscribe Faith (with <3 stacks of Smiting Force)
3.Rune of Smiting (with 4 stacks of Hasty Inscription)
4.Runestrike

When your Runelord's Inscription buff is about to run out, you will have to use a Rune of Travail to refresh dots.
It is usaly best to use a Runestrike after Rune of Travail to make sure the Hasty Inscription buff does not fall off while channeling Rune of Soul Binding.

By this time your Tidal Surge should be ready and you go
Tidal Surge+Rune of Soul Binding.

Rotation:

Runeshaper does not have a strict rotation, and the Warshaper mainly uses Runeshaper abilities for it's damage.

I could make this priority list 20+, but I will keep it short, and mention some more in the notes.

Priority system:
1.Rune of Travail (with <3 second remaining on your seals or <7 seconds if you are using Rune of Soulbinding next)
2.Rune of Soul Binding+Tidal Surge (without a Runelord buff)
3.Rune of Castigation (with Rapid Judgement proc and <3 stacks of Smiting Force)
4.Inscribe Faith (with <3 stacks of Smiting Force)
5.Rune of Smiting (with 4 stacks of Hasty Inscription)
6.Runestrike
